Project SEARCH has been a life-changing experience for me. I have achieved a lot and for anyone considering applying I would really recommend it.

Applicants must:

  • Be aged between 16 and 24 years old on the 1st September
  • Have an Education, Health & Care Plan
  • Be able to evidence previous work experience (voluntary or paid)
  • Be able to demonstrate appropriate communication and behavior in the workplace

How To Apply

The programme has limited spaces each year, so applying early is key:

  • Complete and submit our online application form
  • We will be in touch, and may invite you to meet with us and carry out ‘skills assessment activities' as well as an interview
  • If successful, place offered (on conditional or unconditional basis)
    • The place is also reliant on a successful consultation with your Local Authority. Project Search must be named in Section I of the EHCP. Please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss this process further.
  • If successful but a late applicant, you may be put on a ‘reserve’ list, for if a space becomes available
